How to Mint an NFT on Open3

Below, we will walk you through how to connect your wallet to Open3 and mint an NFT. We will use a MetaMask wallet in this example.

Step 1

Navigate to Click Connect Wallet in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

Step 2

Select the wallet type you'd like to connect. We will be using MetaMask as an example in this tutorial, but the steps will be very similar regardless of what wallet type you use.

Step 3

Enter your password and click Unlock.

Step 4

Sign the message that appears to complete the wallet connection.

Step 5

You will then successfully be logged into your wallet. Click Settings.

Step 6

You'll then be brought to your user settings page. You can add your username, bio, profile picture, links to social profiles, and more.
Click Add Email beneath the Emails section.

Step 7

Enter your email and click Send Verification Code.

Step 8

Open3 will prompt you to enter the verification code sent to your email. Navigate to your email inbox.

Step 9

You should have received an email from Open3 with a 6 digit verification code. If you did not receive this email, check your spam folder.
Copy the 6 digit code, navigate back to Open3, and enter the code in the pop-up window. Click Verify to complete the email verification process.

Step 10

Click on the Explore page in the upper right-hand corner of your screen to view the NFT projects that are currently minting, coming soon, and available for purchase on secondary marketplaces. Today, we will be minting an NFT, so let's stay on the Now Minting tab.
Select the NFT project you would like to mint.

Step 11

You'll then be led to the NFT project's minting page. Open3 will show you the requirements to unlock the project and which of those requirements you've fulfilled.
For the project used in this example, the requirements are connecting your email and wallet, which we've already completed.
Click Unlock Reward.

Step 12

Click Sign in the message that appears to begin the process.

Step 13

You'll then be led through our project redemption flow. In this example, the maximum number of NFTs a user can mint is 1, but this number varies project to project.
Click Mint.

Step 14

You wallet will then tell you how much much gas you have to pay to complete the transaction. Click Sign to confirm your mint.

You did it!

Congratulations! You just minted an NFT on Open3. You can then view your item on OpenSea and share your recent mint on Twitter by connecting your Twitter account in your user settings.
